Becca Van K is a mixed-media fiber artist and chair weaver in the northern Catskill Mountains. She uses recycled and new hand-welded frames to create chairs with a fresh take on traditional techniques and custom needlepoint landscape projects.
Chairs are made using various techniques, including hole-to-hole traditional hand caning, rush weaving, and a crochet/weaving hybrid macrame.
She takes on repair projects in addition to creating new chairs.
